The MONTI TRENTINO PASTA FILATA PROVOLONE VALPADANA is made with best quality milk collected exclusively from the Protected Designation of Origin area. It is a cheese with particular characteristics – its many shapes and the rigorous techniques with which it is made and matured.
It can be savoured in two different types:
• MILD VALPADANA PROVOLONE made with calf rennet
• STRONGER TASTING PROVOLONE VALPADANA made with sheep or goat rennet and matured for a minimum of three months.
Thanks to its melting characteristic, this cheese is used to accompany first course dishes as well as main courses if grilled and served with vegetables and home-made bread. Its taste is enhanced if served with full-bodied wines.
