New York City, June 25-27
New York, June 6, 2023 – Monti Trentini, a family run business with a long cheesemaking tradition which dates back to 1925, is pleased to announce its participation at “2023 Summer Fancy Food” in New York City. This is the largest specialty food show in the US, promoted by the leading trade association, Specialty Food Association.
Over the three-day event, which will run June 25-27 at the Javits Center, U.S. retail buyers, trade professionals and media will have the chance to taste and discover Monti Trentini’s high-quality wide variety of cheeses from the Dolomite Mountains in the Trentino Region of Italy at the company’s booth. Visitors of the booth will also be able to enjoy prosciutti from Salumificio San Michele, whom Monti Trentini has teamed up with this year for distribution in the United States.
With almost a century in business, Monti Trentini has an especially long tradition in the production of mountain cheeses made from the milk of mountain-grazing cows which confer unique fragrances of herbs and a distinctive yellow color. Among these are the iconic Grana Padano DOP, several ASIAGO DOP versions – from the pleasant-tasting younger style to the older, matured Asiago – Provolone, Aged Truffle Caciotta and many more cheeses.
Born from a vision to be quality and accessible to every family, Salumificio San Michele, located in the heart of Italy’s Food Valley, was founded in San Michele Tiorre (Felino) just outside Parma. San Michele is specialized in the production of premium prosciutto, applying genuine craftsmanship and environmental respectful techniques inspired by the owning family’s green soul values. Following the natural cycle and using slow curing to make the most quality products possible, San Michele produces different types of prosciutti: Prosciutto di Parma DOP, Prosciutto di San Daniele DOP and Prosciutto Crudo Dolce.
Monti Trentini and Salumificio San Michele will be on level 3 at Booth Number 449.
